Sourcing the Kakadu Plum
Our Kakadu Plum is wild-harvested on Aboriginal land in Australia’s tropical north, sourced mostly through Aboriginal corporations. Every bottle helps build steady demand for these Aboriginal-owned enterprises.
Preparing the ingredients
Our botanical ingredients are extracted by a specialist partner in northern New South Wales before they reach the formulation stage. Preparing an extract and making a finished cosmetic product are different tasks, each requiring its own expertise.

Bringing the formula together in Sydney
At the cosmetic laboratory we work with in Sydney, ingredients become part of a complete formulation. Compatibility, texture and the experience of applying the product all need consideration.
Development involves revisiting decisions and adjusting the balance. It is practical, detailed work, not simply combining appealing ingredients and putting them in a bottle.
The serum is then mixed and filled into its black glass bottles. We make it in small batches, because its active botanical ingredients are best used within 6 months. Smaller batches mean every bottle reaches you fresh.
Hand-finishing in the Noosa Hinterland
The filled bottles travel north to our warehouse in Queensland’s Noosa Hinterland. Labels are applied, packaging is prepared and orders are organised by hand, then dispatched the same or next business day with complimentary shipping Australia-wide.
These are small tasks individually, but together they turn a filled bottle into something ready to arrive at your door.

Coordinating laboratories, deliveries and packaging is not the glamorous part of skincare. It is the work that lets the finished experience feel considered.
